Hi Guys,

I have seen good feedback on this site for Just for jeeps, I was wondering if any other Aussies have ordered parts from them and what where the shipping times? I have an order with them that will be 2 weeks old on Tuesday 28th, I have order comfirmation and credit card has been debited but still no tracking information from Bongo.
Is anybody able to shed some light on shipping times,

Cheers

JustForJeeps are great but Bongo is a basket case. I have had to get on to JustForJeeps to chase up my order. They were very good about it but even they were frustrated by Bongo. I had a multiple order which confused the hell out of Bongo. They didn't know what to do so they did nothing till pushed by JustForJeeps.

I've used Just for jeeps and had problems with Bongo too. The tracking number didnt work until 2days before it came. I think it took around 3 weeks overall. I even paid extra for the express shipping.

I was very disappointed - especially when the website states 3-5day transit worldwide!

I wouldn't use them again (whilst they still use Bongo as their shipping agent), and since my order their shipping prices have almost doubled.

Kev.

I used just for jeeps pre bongo and was very happy. Was less than 14 days and the tracking worked once the items hit new york I chose them over eBay from china. After member discounts it was only marginally more expensive and you are dealing with a reputable supplier.

Thanks,

I will give it a couple more days then I will contact Just for Jeeps, I to paid the extra for international express. The last order my wife placed with Victoria secret was on a Thursday night and was at our doorstep by Tuesday morning, so it can be done.

I ordered slush mats and a cargo mat from them. The slush mats came within 2 weeks. The cargo mat did not. I contacted Peter at JustForJeeps and the cargo mat was still in Bongo's warehouse, and has now been sent (apparently). As others have said, JustForJeeps is great, Bongo needs improvement.

I ordered side steps and a cargo mat through them. Steps arrived in one week through Bongo. Bongo "lost" the mat in their warehouse somewhere. Took weeks of frustrated emails with Bongo before they finally got it out to me. Just for jeeps are great, Bongo is a massive FAIL! :banghead:

Parts turned up yesterday, Peter from justforjeeps was very good chasing up the order. I think you need to accept the fact that anything ordered will take up to three weeks to arrive.
Product was first class so no complaints there.
Ordered a shark fin from visual garage last night so we will see how we go with that, so far there response has been very good.

Ordered a plastic rivet gun from Just for Jeeps via Bongo 11 days ago. Miraculously, it arrived today. Bongo may be getting their act together. Although, as of this morning, they were showing the item still at their hub in Ohio.

This is how my set of bash plates arrived from Just for Jeeps via Bongo in May this year. Was very disappointed, but what can you do in the circumstances? I'm certainly not going to pay to ship them back again.

Granted it's not good! However, they are no less effective. Look at it this way, they came with off-road cred at no extra charge :) and you would have saved heaps. Anyway, I think you should let JustForJeeps know and refer them to your post.

I just ordered some chrome fog light bezels from Just for Jeeps, let's see how long they take...

I can see tracking details on Bongo. Currently in Norwalk with an ETA of 26/10/12. I might be one of the lucky ones... I hope.

I ordered a pair of rock rails exactly 2 weeks ago. Nothing was showing up on the Bongo tracking site so I contacted them. They said that they haven't got the item yet and it would appear on their tracking site as soon as it arrives. I don't know who is responsible for getting the part to Bongo but I got onto Peter at JustForJeeps and he arranged for them to be sent to Bongo immediately by UPS. I now have UPS confirmation that they were delivered to Bongo. However still nothing on the Bongo tracking site. I'll give them another week.

It took a couple of weeks for Bongo to actually ship my rock rails. Took about a week for tyhem to arrive. The packaging was shit and although the rails were unmarked, the nuts were just rolling around loose on the box, which had a couple of holes in it.

An aside, I reckon quality control at Mopar must be pretty ordinary. When I compared the parts list to what I received, I was given extras in several sizes and short 3 nuts in another size. Wasn't a biggie because I got the dealer to fit them and they had some spare nuts floating around. Cost $300 for fitting and took them all day. Still cheaper than buying the rock rails from Mopar Australia, even with fitting.

And so the Bongo bingo begins. They couldn't find my rock rails and asked for the JustForJeeps shipping number. I've sent it to them and they have now located the rock rails and shipped. Heaven knows in what condition they will arrive. I hope better than Selous's. Bongo's tracking has now picked it up except it shows a Google image of the ocean off the coast of West Africa. No wait, it just updated. The item was picked up at Stratford CT.

Bongo tracking says they attempted delivery to my house this morning but was not home (correct). I'll be happy with just 6 days delivery (standard service) so long as the goods are not damaged.

This is where my rock rails are at the moment. I hope the weather is nice there!

Got my bezels this morning. All arrived safely and in perfect condition. Positive Bongo experience here.

I must say though, there was not a lot of package protection IF they were mishandled along the way.

My Rock Rails arrived today, just 21 days and two stuff-ups after ordering. Bongo are getting better. In line with selous' comments, I checked the inventory. Everything was there apart from one plastic rivet but I have a supply of them anyway. The smaller items generally had a spare thrown in. They even supplied a hex installation tool à la Ikea. However the packaging was poor. The cardboard box wouldn't have survived another transfer. JustForJeeps must have been out of bubble wrap because they wrapped the rock rails with about a dozen UPS bubble wrap express pack envelopes. I know it was JFJ because they used UPS to ship to Bongo. Bongo uses FedEx. That was nowhere near enough considering the weight and the way baggage handles treat cargo with their "Not my problem!" attitude. I'll be telling JFJ that they need to use more like at least two layers of the really big bubble wrap. Of course it doesn't help that Customs rips everything apart. There are a couple of dings in the flange of one of the rock rails but nothing I can't fix with a big hammer. Otherwise, there was not a mark on them. I have steel under-body protection, tow bar, rock rails, now all I need is a steel bull-bar and I'll have a "full steel" GC, apart from the wheels which I'd like to keep as alloys. It will be one heavy Jeep.

Well Just for Jeeps and Bongo have just surprised the hell out of me , ordered a car bra for the GC last Tuesday and guess what was waiting for me today (Tue 20th) 1 week door to door now thats how it should be done ;).

Well done to both companies.

Cheers

Wow! It seems to help if there is one item only.

Can we see some pics. I'm wondering if the bra would effective at shielding the air intake from water when going through creeks.

Looks good. I don't think it would keep the water out but should work well in a locust plague.

Just have to remember not to use the windscreen washers with the headlights on or the headlight washers push the cover out from beneath the headlights
