Hi,
it was suggested to start another thread mainly because there could be a few more people with this issue in Australia.

Impacts imported GCs built between March 2nd 2014 and April 21st 2014.

My car was build date March 22nd 2014
I have done 4,000klms and suspect it must have went sometime after the 3,000klm check up although not certain.

Suggestion of available replacement half shafts for the left hand side they are saying it is available in Aus but the right hand side is on order from the USA.

Some photos of what happens

For Australian delivered models the dates given are what is on the TSB so yes all of them.
Look for grease on the inside of your wheel or inspect the boot yourself.
It is covered under warranty however part availability seems to be hit and miss so I would suggest going to your dealer and getting an order in before it actually occours.

Mine too. Dealer said not affected I knew that was crop even before the test drive. Grease right front and left front witness marks 45-50mm out.
4 has of to and fro... Bought the vehicle on the basis that the dealer in my home state would expedite order prior to my return home 7-10 days later.
As stated they have lefts but no rights and no washers.
Please note that the tsb released 27th didn't have washers listed so rev on the 28th does.
I suspect axles have been changed out without the washers being replaced on many vehicles and possibly this could have something to do with the other problems some folk have had with their replacements.
My delivery / pick up took 4 has. I would not sign or take receipt of the vehicle till I had both spare parts mgrs talk and agree to expedite the order of parts for my jgc.
I then emailed followed by phone call to the dealer down south to confirm same.
The salesmen and service techs don't communicate with each other. No bloody clue. And Jeep USA and Jeep Australia can't get their shyte together But....... I really enjoyed driving the vehicle on a permit from waitara to Strathfield... Sydney traffic. Love this vehicle. Sunrise tomorrow heading to Melbourne approx 800plus km.

Note my jgc had 37 km on it and it had both front axles affected.

That is usally what happens once they go.
If your car was built between these dates they are replacing them all so I would just book it in to get done and for them to order the parts.
