Hi Ally were you prompted to activate anything or did it go straight through?

Hi Sox can we jump straight to this version or should we install the previous update first?

Thanks

Hi Sox

Thanks for letting us know re the maps.

I assume that is also for Australia?

Do you think it will help with our unverified road issues, being that system will not navigate on unverified roads and in Australia, there are a lot of them?

Thanks again for your input.

It went straight through. The process was the same as the .126 upgrade.
The process I followed were.
1. Download the ISO from Sox's site
2. Copy the 3 items (1 folder + 2 files) onto a DVD
3. Press the start button 2 times to get into "engine" mode. (no need to start the motor)
3. Insert the DVD into the player
4. Follow the prompts.
5. The system will ask you if you wish to update. Answer YES.
6. The system will reboot and take about 15mins to install. Do not worry about the screen displaying in German, nor worry about the Adaptive radar being disabled. This is normal.
7. When the update is finished, the system will again reboot, and will prompt to do the install (again) Select "NO".
All done.

If so, from Canberra, input a destination of Batemena Bay. Theoretically it should direct you down the Kings Hwy.
When I do it, it wants to take me up the Hume to Sydney, then back down the coast via Princes Hwy. That is over 500klms, when the direct routs is just over 100klms.
No matter what modes you change, the system will not route correctly.
I made the trip last weekend, and the Nav System did not correctly route until 12klms west of Braidwood.
Allypally, same here. Even with the new s/w update 2.126 I still get routed up the Hume via Sydney to get to Batemans Bay.

Try 2.136 install.
I doubt if it will fix the problem of routing, but worth updating just in case.

Although Sox says you can install 2.136 prior to 2.126, it would appear that there is more in 2.126 than the newer install.
I base this on the install time of about 30mins for 2.126 and only 15mins for 2.136
Personally, I would install 2.126 first, then 2.136 afterwards.

Re: Navigation System Quirks

Chrysler Jeep is monitoring it's Facebook page. Now would be a VERY good time to tell you story about your sat nav failures on Facebook. Here is the link: http://www.facebook.com/jeepaustralia

The more info we get out there, the more owners will come forward. So many of us were told we were the only ones......... Or this is the first they had heard of it......

Please join in.
