You're right Bungendore. I called Tracy today to lodge a case number. I was told unequivocally that the "update" will be ready in 2 to 3 weeks and that we would have to pay for the "update" as it was not a "fix". I don't mind paying for updates but this is not an update. I consider this a fix to a flawed system.
We agreed to disagree on the fact that the SATNAV is not fit for purpose. How can Jeep tell me that the shortest route from Canberra to Batemans Bay is via Sydney???
I've also given them the option to replace the whole unit at their cost or apply the update and I've got all the documentation ready for the Office of Fair Trading.
