Re: Navigation System Quirks

You were probably given 2.126 patch. It was really a radio enhancement. Go into settings on your screen and see what version you have.

Re: Navigation System Quirks

Yep the radio update was to 2.126 though I'm sure I'd already performed that myself quite some time ago. Also the sat nav issues have not changed. So I'm curious as to what update was applied to the vehicle in the other thread and why we haven't been offered the same, as according to the post it seems to have removed a number of the issues.

Also odd that one of the many examples of the poor routing in my MY12 was a destination of Syd International Airport directing me to pass the correct turn off (keep right) to the airport, then directing me to perform a U-turn at the next set of traffic lights (Link Rd) which would return me to the airport. Yet when I got the MY13 and tried this same destination it performed the correct route but continued with other issues.

Now it performs the incorrect route again!!!

Re: Navigation System Quirks

Well, the latest verion of that software is 2.136, so if they did install 2.126, they are still well behind the current releases. You may have had 2.136 and it would have been overwritten by 2.126.
Best you go to Sox's site, download and install 2.136 version. It won't fix Routing, but will enhance the radio performance.
The dealers have a tendency to not think about what they are doing, and simply install software, even though it is an earlier version.

Re: Navigation System Quirks

Nothing from Jeep. However, I received a email from ACCC recommending I persue the matter to the NSW Office of Fair Trading.

Just on this, I recently had an unrelated matter go through the CTTT. Worked a treat - simple and effective process.

Same here and I will pursue the matter. Spoke to Customer Care and same thing said again..."We expect an update/fix very soon."
