Thanks Mozzie,

I will try the passenger side as suggested by the spotlight connection.

Thanks too to Steve, Adrian and Nikjak for your help. I will post my "success" tomorrow (I hope)

Cheers

John

SUCCESS!!!

It helped that I was now looking at the actual plug rather than some other magic gizmo!

Once I had found the correct plug it was child's play.

I now have a trigger voltage lead so the circuitry will function as it should.

My next problem is how to route the switch wires to the cabin. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks for all your expert advice.

Cheers

John

Well done

I didn't bother with a separate switch. Mine follows the high beam all the time.

John.

Look in the right had back corner of the engine bay (looking from the front). You will find a big void space next to the bonnet hinge. About a foot down you will find a blank grommet, right in the corner. That leads into the passenger footwell almost level with the bottom of the dash (can't remember whether I had to remove the foot well upper cover) but putt the carpet and sound proofing back there you will find the other side.

That's where I fed mine and then across behind the dash to the drivers side.

Happy hunting.

Regards

Adrian.

All the wiring went well. I purchased a number plate mount for the light bar but when I went to fit it I found that the number plate is MoU ted to the plastic number and NOT to any substantial support.
Aside from fitting a nudge bar are there any available mounts that will offer appropriate support?
cheers
John
