Aslantarek,

No, this product protects the underside of the engine, where the current plastic stock 'Belly Pan' sits.

We are currently in development of a 'WK2 Front Guard' to protect the area you mention. You've probably noticed this area is very vulnerable off-road. I hope to have a prototype back from the factory for testing within the month.

Cheers,
Bill

We'll keep me updated with news about that and if you could please tell me where I could find a good winch setup

Hi Aslantarek,

Please PM me with your name & email address and I will add you to our interest list for the 'WK2 Front Guard' we are currently developing.

In regards to winches, I have always had good experience with Warn Winches, but there are many quality products on the market. There are a few winch mounting platforms available for the WK2. If you're not interested in a Bull Bar, the best solution I've seen is from Rocky Road Outfitters. It fits completely behind the bumper. If you're looking for a Bull Bar, (that can hold a winch) there are options from ECB, ARB and a very cool Australian company called Uneek.

I hope that helps!

Cheers,
Bill

I like yours very much although I think under speed these sides will cause drag and flubbed with wind I dont mind the unfinished look if it weren't for the air spring computer

Not sure where you guys are but be careful - the RRO does not fit the post 2011 Aus GC.

Please be more specific, are you refering to the winch bumper or the pre-runner skid plate not fitting the post 2011 Aus GC?

Whatever the reply what is the reason it doesn't fit?

Re: Need WK2s for Product Test Fitting (Gold Coast & Brisbane)

The pre-runner requires the winch bar fitting. The front end of the export GC is different to the US GC. I'm not sure if RRO make their fitting for the export front end.

edit: the website says they fit:
