Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

Jeepless noticed it in December - 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia
It was at a dealer in Newcastle

There have also been ads on Cars Guide showing them. I can't see any now though.

Hope is not much of a plan when it comes to Jeep Aus. If you want the hooks the only way to ensure your car comes with them is to go and make a specific request of your dealer. Otherwise your jeep will be like a box of chocolates...

I had a look this morning. Can't decide if I should get one or two. Would be an easier decision if there was a discount for a pair

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

Yes, the eyelets seem like a better option, not sure on 1 or 2. 1 will do the job most of the time.

Also weighing up the bash plate. Uneek do one too, but looks like you have to drill 3 new 20mm holes through the cross member and it sits under the plate behind it, leaving an edge that can catch, the chief install looks better.

Pricing looks good to me for all the products. But a discount for a pair of hooks would be good....

I was under the impression that an equalizing strap should be used to distribute the snatching load between the two front rails?
