[QUOTE=Twscoot;1130761]Added the Mopar hook on the weekend. Never was able to get the lower bumper off so with careful keyhole surgery and a good selection of tools was able to fit it. $280 from a Jeep dealer in Brisbane

Looks good!

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

Have I missed something here? Are we able to fit Mopar Tow Hooks to '14 WK2 models now. What's changed?

One side... not really "Mopar", more "Jeep Australia".

Nothing's changed 😐

Merry Christmas,

Yep - not the twin Mopar hooks. Just the JA hook for the passenger side only.

That is unless you have the Jeep nudge bar or are prepared to fabricate the drivers side bracket (refer posts from ?stud gun? I think).

I have the nudge bar and am still considering my options as the Chief units will probably not fit with the nudge brackets.

Lets see what the new year brings.

Regards

Adrian.

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

OK. I'm not mad here. I've seen a few 14 in Perth with the front Jeep recovery hooks and what look like genuine squarish you see in the US adverts. I've even seen a couple with the chrome finished. Their not the chief product fabrication. Unless these owner ordered their cars from factory with the hook's special requested, most likely... Something's gotta give...

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

There was one shipment that came in with NZ spec cars. They are just like Aus, but they had the chrome hooks.

I take my front air dam off in 2 minutes. Very easy to remove. Once you remove the 7 half turn plastic screw things just stick your hand through the tow hook holes and separate the air dam tabs from the main front upper bumper. Do this on each side, then slowly just start pulling it away from your car.
