Seems the diesel and 2014 GC's are't listed in the Dash Command App on teh iphone, so you need to populate some specs....

Not sure if you'll find that info easily anywhere.

A 630 DOHC: V6 Motors Engine Euro5 emission 250 CV - VM Motori

A decent turbo diesel BSFC will be around 200 g /kW.h or a bit better (lower) (in american that's about 0.33 lb/hp.h)
I'm guessing the sweet spot for BSFC on the JGC diesel is about 2000 rpm

Re: OBDII wifi dongle and Ipad app

Hi, I've been lurking around here for a month or so, and just recently got a 2012 Limited CRD. I bought an ELM327 wifi OBD2 scanner and connecting it to DashCommand on my iPhone 6. I have tried all the recommendations and settings as per the DashCommand instructions - but do not get speed or average/instantaneous fuel consumption. Any ideas? Has anybody else using DashCommand come across a similar problem?

Do you get any data across the link? The 2012 software has implemented a very limited subset of the OBD2 pids. I could get very little data from my 2012/13 trailhawk. If you have access to an android phone you could try one of the other apps ( like torque pro ). Some apps will list the pid data they receive from the scanner so you can see what to expect. I could see vehicle speed and revs with torque pro, but very little else.

Re: OBDII wifi dongle and Ipad app

The DashCommand app shows which PID's are compatible with the car after setting it up. I could get quite a lot of information, but for some reason not vehicle speed. I've tried all the different setup recommendations, but still no luck. In the end I asked for a refund as I can not get the settings to work as intended. Will try out a few free OBD apps and see how it goes.
