They're the 265/65/18's Zzkazu, they were the only LT tyre that would fit comfortably both in the wheel wells without any issue and also on the spare steel rim in the spare well at the rear. The cover sits flat without any problems.

The Bridgestone D697 LT in the same size doesn't fit? I'd suggest that there are others.

Cheers,
Steve

Don't you mean 265/60R18 LT emphasis on the "60"? My D697s on an OEM alloy wheel fit in the wheel well with the lid just slightly up.

It's got to be the bull-bar and bash plate. Is it the 5mm plate? Lucky you didn't get a steel bull-bar. A couple of bags of cement in the back and it will sit flat but you probably should look into stiffer springs in the front.

Re: Off Road 18"s

Hi Barboots.
You seem to have this tyre sizes info pretty clear in your head.
Are there options for running 17inch wheels and tyres on my MY14 Overland
for sand driving. I like the idea of running low pressures on the beaches at Robe.
Regards Murray

Re: Off Road 18"s

I don't think the 17s fit in standard offset, due to the size of the brake rotors. Apparently you can get away with it by going for a lower offset.... Not sure it is worth it for that extra inch, just go for tyres with a strong sidewall and air down.

Re: Off Road 18"s

That'd be a world of pain. You'd end up with tyre contact at normal suspension heights unless you had a significant, fixed, lift installed.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Off Road 18"s

Here's one with 0 offset and 32inch rubber... but some surgery was required:
WK2 QL with 275/65/18 and 0 offset Rockstar II wheels

I agree, stick to 18s with tyres that have good sidewalls and can take lower pressures.
