Paint issues anyone?

So I've just paid for a new my14 Grand Cherokee Limited Diesel in billet silver, pumped..... I went to pick up the vehicle and noticed 3 hand sized paint imperfections under the clear coat!!!! wtf!!!!. Like a pooling of the metallic, dealers apparently "missed it" so did head office?! any other aussie owners or owners anywhere recently purchased and found this issue??
I refused delivery so now I'm on the waiting list for a my15, anyone know the wait time?

G,Day Kabo, Didn't have those particular issues but had thin paint coverage around the door hinges,( can see the grey undercoat ) drive shafts were BARE steel as with the tail shafts, NO under body sealant only the primer coat, great car but the QUALITY comes up a bit short.

Ohh thats no good at all! Did you follow it up with your dealer?
They offered to send mine to the spray booth hahah...... I quickly declined. Id like to know how the QAers miss these issues, or they are aware and sell on to the dealers at a lower cost. Did you get it at a lower price? There's no good reason a new 50k+ vehicle should have to go from showroom floor to a spray shop because there quality accessors cant do there job properly. Its pretty piss poor I reckon!

Yeah, paint quality is an ongoing issue. The factory is running at full capacity, so I think the QA takes second place to getting orders out the door.

Re: Paint issues anyone?

Well so far the boat has been the bottle neck limiting supply to around 1400 GCs a month. The plant is running at capacity, so unless we get allocation from other countries and they increase the boats, then not many more will be getting here. He may have meant with the new Cherokee, but can't see that matching Grand sales.
