Re: Product Safety Recalls Australia

I think I'll give my contact at DFT a ring and see if they agree that JA can rely on RMS and then take no further responsibility themselves.

Re: Product Safety Recalls Australia

You can hardly expect JA to hire people with intelligence, can you? That seems to be going a bit too far.
I think their hiring criteria would be to look for people who can recognise a phone ring, but do anything about it. If they do accidentally pick up a call, to act dumb, which incidentally, they do very well. To have the ability to respond to queries... by not responding at all. Actually, that job description sounds more like a managerial role in JA.
There would be no criteria to write, as after all, we live in an electronic age, so anything by mail would be left to the cleaners at RMS to take care of.

Check the back of the car. You may have a box full of brake boosters and sunvisors.

Re: Product Safety Recalls Australia

You would not know these days what dealers were doing. The old skool garage that looks after my Alfa still keep a box of the parts they have replaced and show me what they have done - they will talk and talk and talk if you let them....

But yes I know, most people just don't care anymore.

Re: Product Safety Recalls Australia

I haven't had any recalls at all for my May build MY14.

The list of recalls for the cars I DIDNT buy is growing.

There was a serious recall on Territory couple months ago.

Now the Holden Colorado is prone to catching fire I just read in the news.!

A recall on the way?

Air bag recall expected to be largest in U.S. history

Dont think it involves any Jeep models at all from what i read, but does include some Dodge Rams and Charger.

There has to be a list somewhere.

It was about 17million last year but now updated to 33.8 million!
with more Honda and Toyota than anything else.

Re: Product Safety Recalls Australia

Can I trust this site to list all applicable recalls for my 2014 CRD GC ?

https://www.moparownerconnect.com/oc...allsquery.aspx

Reason I ask is that you guys have mentioned many recalls in the last 4-5 months including the DPF issue that has not been done on my car ? The only one currently showing as applicable is P67 the stability control unit replacement.

Is their a site to list recalls performed on a particular VIN ?
