Re: Rear Mud Flap Bolts

We met people in Qld we had been booked, or defected, for not having mudflaps on their 4wd, I have some home made ones shaped from 6 mm rubber on the front. Amazing how much paint the gravel strips off underneath even with them on. The back ones have survived so far though they are both cracked.

Re: Rear Mud Flap Bolts

I can't find anything definitive on mudflap regulation only anecdotal. It seems it is not an ADR but a state requirement. In NSW, the rear of the mudguard must be no higher than the axle or 300mm off the road. If this is correct then with Quadra-lift in normal, the GC complies without mudflaps. Can anyone find a link to the regulation of any state?
