Re: Servicing in Brisbane

If it's Leo Muller you've been to the oil they use is Castrol Edge 0-40 fully synthetic.

It's a great oil.

Re: Servicing in Brisbane

Bump....10k is looming although the sticker put on my windscreen at it's monthly freebie states next service due 12k. I'm thinking it's best to go with the handbook. Still quoted $580 out of Albion. Anybody done better around Brizzy with a dealer service on a CRD? Cheers for any info. (Torque converters acting up at 93kmh so I'm thinking I might need to get the TSB's installed for that and the sand malfunction at the same time)

Don't we just wait for the "Oil Change Indicator" system to advise when an oil change is required and cut down the Stealership involvement?

Wish it was that simple. Discussed in other threads, the Warranty (10k services) supercedes the manufacturers recomendations.........only in Australia because we live in a dust bowl with dirt tracks only hence the extra wear and tear on the Australian variants!!! Just wondering cheapest dealer service around town?

Re: Servicing in Brisbane

All of that is fine and dandy except when you drop a turobo or motor and jeep Australia refuse the warranty claim on the grounds of wrong incorrect oil used even I the dealer used it.

So what does jeep Australia say?
