Re: Servicing jeep in perth

Anyone got a quote on a 96,000km service in Perth?

My 2012, 3.6 is quoted around $1317. Just wondering if i'm getting ripped for it. Inc all diff/transfer case fluids.

With the CJD Maxcare, you are required to go to a Jeep Dealer for Service?

Yes they are ripping you off. Buy your own transfer case auto box oil, diff oils and all filters. Fit the cabin and air filters yourself. Give the rest to dealer at service. I had a similar quote for my diesel GC so I spent $200 on parts and was charged $500something at the dealer. (still getting ripped off!) but saved $500ish. Information is all available on this website, thanks again to all who have posted!
I also had an itemised quote from the dealer so I could see where to make savings. It's ridiculous the amount they charge for diff / transfer oils, and filters, and fitting of filters.
Penrite oils from local parts shop and Westfil filters home delivered

Re: Servicing jeep in perth

I've just booked my Laredo in for it's 40K service; Quoted $971 inc GST. so I'm happy with that.

I was gearing up to do it myself but currently nursing broken ribs
(No thanks to Perth Chiro on 29th Dec arvo. )

I even bought myself an e-bike in Freo that morning and haven't been able to ride it!

40K completed:

Bracket upgrade via TSB for rear shocks ordered.
Pulling to the Left: They've rotated tyres, but yet to test
AMradio: Saying can't be done since early update to Uconnect: Not convinced of outcome but believe they have tried.
Spoke to service manager re Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30. Showed him the spec's between that & ESP 5W-30. He rang Mobil and got assurance it was ok to use but was interested in my info and is going to take it up with FCA Australia.
Very happy with Service GC came back with full wash & polish, there were some nasty bugs on it I hadn't been able to get to due to my injury.
Was given a loan car (Ford Kuga) for the day.
Only thing I found was log/service book not stamped but will fix tomorrow.

Total cost $895

S49: not done at my request.

Decent price (for a Jeep dealer) especially given it including the loaner, what dealer was it mate?

They actually told me they wouldn't have time to get it done anyway as they were time poor so happy to wait until they fix the new brackets to the rear shocks.

Also I'd like to get a bit more feed back from here first as to the S49 fix.

Re: Servicing jeep in perth

Yeah there's quite a bit slipstreamed into the S49 update. It's not just auto park...

Yes, there is a TSB for MY14's built before April 14. Mine was January Baby.
