There's another Aussie thread around somewhere about the sill guards. I got them from just for jeeps. Very happy with them and IMO a mandatory mod b/c as you say the sills are very exposed. You can get ones off eBay that have longer rear guards ( the mopar one appear a little short), but having them installed now for 6 months I think the genuine ones are fine and do the job well.

Great idea. I have something resembling the same used to protect propeller blades. As long as it protects the paint as I think it's vunerable in that area.

Hi,
The sharkfin sits up 50mm from the roof, but note your roof bars sit 25mm. Therefore side on, you see 25mm of fin above the roof bars. Buy from VisualGarage in the US. Should cost you just shy of $100 AUD delivered. Easy to install and colour coded to suit your car. Mine was ordered and delivered in a week and installed in 10 mins. My weathersheilds came with the towpack. You can order through the States however not sure how well they will travel.

Contact for Sharkfin http://visualgarage.com

Re: Shark fin installed

Here's another one ...

It actually took longer to cross the US than it did to get from LA to Melbourne (including an inspection by Customs)

Re: Shark fin installed

And now SWMBO tells me that she really likes the Shark Fin antenna and that she thought the stubby black one was unattractive. This is after she gave me a hard time about ordering it from Canada!

I fitted them too after seeing scratches on the sill. They are a bit tricky to fit. They have double sided tape on the top and side and once they make contact, they don't let go.

Yep, that red shark's fin looks good. Although Nemo fin would be a more accurate description
