Slush Mats/Carpet Mats in Aus

I have seen alot of people in the US using mopar or Weathertech mats, what is best place in Aus to get these? Or should you order from US?

Re: Slush Mats/Carpet Mats in Aus

I bought a generic set of 4 rubber onces from Super Cheap back in 2005 for my WH, still using the same ones in my WK. They don't look real nice compared to the nice black clean carpet underneath but they do the job and fit reasonably well

Don't know of anywhere in Australia to buy mopar gear, you could try your local jeep dealer. I order my gear online if I need anything.

If you''ve been waiting for ever for your jeep your not gonna want to put supacheap mats in your new jeep.

And don't forget the driver's side is on the wrong side over there, so the pedal cutouts will be on the wrong side

Re: Slush Mats/Carpet Mats in Aus

You can order all Mopar mats in Aus directly from www.mopar.com.au. That is if you don't mind paying more than triple the US prices

If you find the Mopar slush mats (RHD) for a normal price anywhere else I would be very interested as well.

Yes the Weathertech are really nice BUT.
As beerenton said LHD don't fit.

I got them and cut the corners out and glued them back together. (sort of) cant find a glue that will stick to them.

Re: Slush Mats/Carpet Mats in Aus

I have the MOPAR / Jeep mats in RHD. They fit perfectly and look good. The only negative is that They dont really come up the side that much though if you know what i mean??
Can't comment on the price though as I had them included in the deal

Re: Slush Mats/Carpet Mats in Aus

I just got my Mopar slush mats. I ordered them from http://www.mopar-wholesale.com/ in the States. Cost including shipping was $124.83 AUD to my door. If I had bought them through Mopar Australia they would have cost $233 a saving of $108 AUD. I was concerned about getting the RHD versions so I searched for the Australian part number 82212214AC and was surprised they had them listed. The US part number is different so I assume RHD and LHD mats are different but I don't know for sure. Any way, what they sent me fits perfectly. Very happy.

Thanks Bob, just followed your example and placed the order. How long did it take until they arrived?

Re: Slush Mats/Carpet Mats in Aus

I got genuine mopar rubber mats as part of deal when I got my car back in March, to date the mats are still on back order with no ETA.

I did pick up a boot liner from booter.com.au which arrive the next day after I ordered it. It's a weather tech brand and fits well and doesn't stink like others I've seen.

17 days from the date of order. I was delivered by Australia Post. I was out at the time so had to pick it up at the PO.

I had also ordered a cargo area liner. They were good enough to advise that the freight on the liner would be too expensive to send with their normal service so I cancelled that and ordered it plus a couple of other bits, through justforjeeps.com. My saving including freight will be about $50 against the Mopar Aust. price. Justforjeeps passed it on to a mob called Bongo who seem to be having trouble tracking it and I'm yet to receive it. Fingers crossed.

Re: Slush Mats/Carpet Mats in Aus

I'll just be sticking with the Bushranger Mudtamer mats. $90 for a set of 4 and they have trim lines so you can cut them to suit. They also have nibs underneath to stop them shifting around.

The cargo area liner just arrived. Justforjeeps were very helpful in pushing the order along through Bongo who seem to be a bit of a ramshackled outfit. Anyway, I'm happy.
