The situation, as I understand it, is that many of these SRT8's have been sitting around since in Oz since from March this year awaiting Jeep Aust's release plan. From what has been previously stated, Jeep Aust wanted 2 cars per dealership to be available at release time.
The SRT8 MY12 was released in around March last year. The first Australia car was built in January of this year. 132 cars were delivered to Aust.
The MY13, in July this year. So far 54 have been built for Aust.
The MY14 is due to commence around January next year.
The way to tell the various models is by the 10th character of the VIN code.
Milous did state that 100 of the MY12 cars that have been sitting around were meant for Demo, but knowing the way these dealers think, I would not be surprised if they will be passed as new stock and sold at premium pricing. Buyer beware.
In regard to pricing, I still have not heard of any official price release. However, if you read back through this thread, you will see the figure of $90k being quoted.
