All shipped this month, batches went out on the 11th, 18th and 22nd, so looks like mid-late December arrival.

Fun fact of the day: Australia is the No. 1 export market for the 2013 Jeep SRT8 .

Thanks for the tip - ended up getting the car I wanted - black with sunroof - through them - the car my dealer couldnt get. Is this where you got yours through? Sorry to hear your moulds coming off already - takes the shine off something you have waited so long for.

Re: SRT8 Order Book is Open

So only an extra $1k for Alpine & Vapor over normal SRT with roof/audio. That's fair. Glad they didn't try to rip customers $$$$ for black bits

Re: SRT8 Order Book is Open

Has anyone else who has taken delivery of their STR8 noticed a few things missing - like the remote start?? Also notice their is a wired camera at the front of the vehicle but no option to use it??

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Review |*CarAdvice

'But it’s the remote start that is arguably the SRT8’s show-stopping feature. It allows you to start the engine and activate various comfort settings from the key fob, while maintaining vehicle security.'

Re: SRT8 Order Book is Open

Are you sure you are not mistaking that front camera for the Adaptive Radar?

That article is a test-drive of the US version. Don't think we get remote start here. The "front camera" is the RADAR for the adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning.

This completes the triangle of Australia's love affair with V8 special vehicles, Holden Special Vehicles Holden Special Vehicles: Performance Cars Australia: HSV , Ford Performance Vehicles Ford Performance Vehicles | FPV and now Chrysler with the SRT8. The SRT8 is fully imported whereas HSV and FPV are locally produced but largely derived from their US parent GM and Ford respectively.
