Traded my Hemi for a diesel

Today we traded our 2011 overland 5.7 in for a my14 ecodiesel. I have to say that it's a big improvement, smooth gear change lots of power, sat have is a lot better. Early days.
I changed because we tow a 22ft van around a fair bit and wanted to reduce my fuel costs.

Congrats, I'm sure your new '14 won't have much trouble pulling your van.
Which model GC did ya get?

Congratulations, but is seems an awfully expensive way to reduce fuel consumption. Or perhaps that was the reason you gave the missus so that you could get the CRD? I would have done the same.

Smile Re: Traded my Hemi for a diesel

Bob, I would have brought the crd back in 2011, but it was not released.
After towing our van around clocking up over 20000km with average of around 20ltrs/100km, and with more GC being traded in I thought it was a good time to trade. Yes it did cost me bucks, but with the new uconnect, 8 speed and other changes I thought it was time.
The new overland is just great plenty of power I'm happy
