Well ,MY17 is definitely available in Australia. I have placed an order for an Overland CRD to replace my 2012 (which has been an excellent vehicle) and now have a VIN for early May build.

Nice - what was your experience at the dealer like? Were they adequately informed about the specs?

I guess delivery around August?

Re: UK & Aus To Skip 17MY GC ??

Picked up a MY17 Buyers Guide and noticed that servicing is 12 months / 10,000km. Wasn't this recently changed to 20,000????

Confusion by FCA again?

Re: UK & Aus To Skip 17MY GC ??

For both dealers I went to, experience was quite good. Neither know a lot about MY17 other than that it could be ordered and pricing. But I expected that and had done my homework on local and US Jeep sites so knew what I wanted including options based on current JGC.
Price was keen in both cases and negotiating hard bears fruit.
Delivery not yet clear. Could be June or August. I am away camping in July anyway so not to worried if it is later. It will depend on final build date and shipment lot timings.

Willing to share the changeover price?

Give the punters a target

Re: UK & Aus To Skip 17MY GC ??

Bit difficult, as it depends on trade in value allocated. I was looking at overall changeover cost after trade in and the price included a heap of extras. Irrelevant to me how a dealer gets there. Suffice to say, it was a better deal than that being offered on MY15' Overlands currently in run out and both dealers were prepared to work at it, so the RRP and willingness to deal on options is quite flexible at present. Not prepared to put a price in a public forum.
