Pulled the trigger on a set of these today. Ended up getting the tube side step as they are going to give extra protection.

In speaking to Uneek, they haven't even produced a physical set without the tubing yet.

Will do the install myself. Have lined up an engineering company to put the nutserts in for me, I will drill the holes though. Save me buying a nutsert gun.

Did the install of these a couple of weeks ago. Overall happy with them. There were some finishing issues, which I rectified, paint missing on welds with rust.

I made my own nutsert gun for the M6 bolts. Insert into the hole and tighten the nut 3 revolutions.

I left the tail peices on the underneath M10 plate assemblies, so I could undo and remove for a respray if required.

I painted the M6 bolt heads for the tread plates, IMO looks a lot better. Sorry for the dodge photo.

Re: Uneek Rock Sliders

I had a bit of a bad weekend. Got caught in the mud on a track i couldn't turn around on and slid most of way down it. On one tight section i slid straight into a fallen tree.

Re: Uneek Rock Sliders

Yes they were great. Also need to say that the Maxtrax's i bought a while ago were also well worth the investment.

not nice. That's one thing I'm worried about, panel damage. I don't like mud so hopefully I won't be sliding into a tree!

Re: Uneek Rock Sliders

If the tree was just a little lower it would have hit thd sliders rather than both doors.
We were just glad to have not totalled the car as the only way we could get down the last 300mtrs was max trax, one in front of the other.
