unexpected cost of owning a GC

Two speeding fines in one month, haven't been booked in years.
Find it hard to maintain lower speeds around 60-70km

Wow, lucky you did not get pinned for a red light as well.
Fortunately I have not been pinged, but I do not know how long it will be in a SRT.

I hear you.

I haven't been pinged yet but I've never been so aware as a driver before this vehicle and where it's sitting speed wise.

It doesn't like 'slow' and it creeps up and it feels so smooth and you don't realise (well I don't anyway) and suddenly you're thinking ... 'oh, where did that come from' (speed wise that is) and so you pull back...

... and then you feel sad.

PS: In 30 years of driving, I have never had any violation be that parking or speeding nor any accident. My record is shiny white on both sides of the Tasman, but this thing (MY14 JGC) may be my undoing.

I'm aware. Just need to be cautious is all. Husband does not help with the speed bleep set at 130. He's worse than I am.

It is lovely though. It just absorbs the ruts and bumps of our semi-rural roads, not exactly like a complete bitumen highway, but pretty close to it, and after a while you gain confidence in its performance on those particular roads.

We love it. It does hate going at 60 though and you feel like it would be quicker walking. (kidding - )

Yep GC doesn't do slow, if you want to see how often you are speeding, just turn on the over speed alert. Makes for a very annoying drive.

You know whats annoying, when you are stuck at a set of lights turning right from the left lane, you ease off the brakes and I you hear beep beep because someone is next to you on the right..... pi**es me off royally. If only the key would remember your Uconnect settings like it does the seat and mirror positions.

Wasn't there a tv ad about that for another car, the speed cameras all took pictures because it looked so good! Clearly that was the problem here.
