Re: USB question

Thanks for starting this thread Andy, I have a related question....

When copying an MP3 / MP4 from the USB to the HD does it transfer the song title, artist etc also?

The reason I asked is a few weeks ago put a CD in the in disc drive and listened. I then experimented and copied that commercial CD onto the HD. When it copied over the music it did not copy over artist / song titles etc. All it shows is track 1, track 2 etc

So, are we best copying / formatting music with artist / song onto a USB and then copy to HD.

Also, are we best not to copy over in folders and leave them as individual files?

My wife usually does this stuff along with connecting TV, DVD Foxtel etc at home. Though I did impress myself when I paired the iPhone and uploaded images of the kids! I'll pair her iPhone next!

Re: USB question

Some older CD's and cheap ones do not have the track data on them.
