V6 petrol and ACC

Finally got a road trip in the DCR overland, and loved every minute of it! The V6 petrol has plenty of power, I always felt there was more available even when overtaking on country highways. The ACC was very handy when encountering other traffic outside overtaking zones.... I always felt lazy using it though, even though it has a huge 'cool' factor!

A couple of questions though: what kind of fuel usage are others getting with this engine? I was down to 9.4L/100km, but normally about 15 with city driving.

Secondly, how much of a difference does the ACC make? I could feel it slowing the car a few times when I wouldnt have manually, so I'm sure thats a hit on fuel usage. Worth the cost of confidently avoiding a speeding ticket?

Cheers,
Andrew
