Here you go Kizz.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/39m5kg3q7d...0MY13.pdf?dl=0

For the template, make sure your printer is set to 100% and no scaling.

Note that the exploded view diagram isn't clear regarding the fastener and backing plate sequence. The fish plates go under the nut/washer combo, outside the chassis cavity, against the inside face of the chassis.

Also check out my "DIY Trailer Socket Wiring" thread.

Cheers,
Steve

That's brilliant Steve! many thanks for that, will check out your trailer sock wiring thread too. Another project for the weekend

Regarding your comment on the backing plate, i'm guessing this is component #3 and the #17 bolts come from the inside of the chassis rail and the #3 plate together with #18#19#20 washer/spring washer/nut combo sits on the outside of the chassis rail?

No problem. Give me a yell if you run into any snags... I've done two of these now.

Re: wk2 Australian mopar tow bar install :(

For those with towing knowledge, is there a reason that the position of our tow point seems lower than those in the US?
Does the height position through the bumper change depending what brand we buy here? There seems to be about a 50mm difference from what I see.

no plug - you have to splice the wires

Bumpers is a @#$@# tp get off (broke one clip)

removing the inside side panel to get to the loom i cracked that (even being super careful)

instructions weren't great.

but it is a good bit of gear.

Unless you like busted knuckles and cut hands - get the dealer to do it (although at least i know my stuff ups - sure the dealer makes them too but they are hidden.
Why???

I paid $640 to Cosmopolitan Tow bars in Botany, Sydney and they fitted it in 30minutes. Works a treat!

I bet the wiring is spliced under the car. Great... unless you drive in the wet.

If I recall correctly, that's not the Mopar tow bar.

Not saying it's better or worse, just that it's probably best to compare install times like to like.

Different products have different install times and procedures.
