Your dealer should be able to call up your vehicle on a terminal in their office, same as track & trace but local. Although mine would not show history will have furthur discussions tomorrow when hopefully pick up.

Just ordered a GC Laredo diesel, Black Forest Green + quadra-lift + the off-road pack. Now to play the waiting game.

Do ya mind if i ask what price ya ended up paying?
Im guessing.. $61399? lol random guess but yeah

I asked in main oard as well. But on the Laredo with the 431 media centre, does this have GPS or do you need the 731 for GPS Nav

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Latest gossip from the marketplace is that dealers are not giving any discounts on the GC as demand is way greater than supply.... as if we didnt already know that.
I also hear that production is being boosted in Dec for RHD models, and that there should be a better supply in Jan or Feb.

That depends on your negotiating skills. I'm happy with the price for my one

Gossip or facts? Where do you hear such things? Wouldn't mind getting my GC a little earlier but I'm not holding my breath...

I am basing this on volume buy pricing which is now $2k more than 3 mths ago. i.e. Overland $69k/$71.5k

My experience with dealers is that they usually know a lot less than I can find out on the forums here. Also walked from one dealer because he was talking that much bs that I could not take it any longer.

But no point in turning this into dealer bashing, there must be good dealers out there, just haven't found them yet

Sure hope we get some more cars. It's frustrating to read that the US guys get their orders within 2 weeks while we have to wait for 6+ months

On the bright side, spotted yesterday a black GC driving through St Ives. Followed him for a short while and must say the new GC really looks great on the road

The drive away list price come to $59,334. I got it for a tad less. I ordered no other options other than the quadra-lift and the off-road pack. That kept the whole thing under the Luxury Car Tax threshold. I would have liked side-steps and the tent kit. However, after market side-steps are going for about 1/4 of what Jeep were asking and the tent would have been just an indulgence. There is no sat-nav. I like to know where I'm going not told where I'm going. In any case, as I understand it, stand alone sat-navs are better and much cheaper than in-car sat-navs.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

It isn't only the cars that are slow to arrive. I have been waiting for a new headlight and other parts to repair emu-damage for more than 4 weeks now. The repair shop was told 3 weeks delivery but Chrysler time is obviously different to our standard time!
