Those rims are fine, they SRT rims so the offset is a little more. I just think the 295/55/20 will be too tall and they will rub. The 295/45/20 should fit those rims or 275/55/20 will fit as well.
Just Picked up my new SRT this week .
1/ Does anyone know how to turn off permanently the 4 cylinder shutdown mode when in auto ?
2/ Where can I get a footrest made or is there one available somewhere ?
Shouldn't matter by the looks of it. Interesting that it ships out of Oz. The hard part will be getting the carpet up to fit the backing plate. We will have to pull the inside kick panel and not the outer one like the left hand drive cars.
Why do you need anything from Jeep? You have a phone number just put it in your phone and call them if you need to .They have all your details registered when the car is sold
I got one of those as well but for the KL not the GC. I did receive a letter the other day though for the GC for a renewal of Jeep Assist (card attached with Model, VIN etc) because warranty runs out in June. $143 for the year.
The 2016 The Tyre and Rim Association of Australia Standards Manual has just come out. See The Tyre and Rim Association of Australia - Official Site. It costs $68.20 a hit but considering the cost of a full set of tyres and maybe rims as well, in my view it is money well spent to know what's what and to be able to cut through dealer BS. For each standard tyre size, it gives full dimensions of tyres and rims, performance criteria and load rating curves versus tyre pressures. However, note that while the manual is sponsored by the major tyre companies, the data is purely generic, no brands are mentioned.
It would cheaper and easier to sell and buy a GC with it on, in saying that why, I run a 2 inch lift with steel springs and really I thinking is better and less heartache by worrying about any failures of the air suspension.
Agree with the above comment. Just get a good lift kit instead of bothering with quadralift. AFAIK it can't be retro-fitted to a steel sprung car, and I may be biased but I reckon lifted GC looks better with a lift, and handling is still pretty damn good afterwards
"Aggressive", you've got to be joking. I lower the car so that my 93 year old mother can get in and out. If you want aggressive, shave your head, get some tats and a nose ring.

So I rang Jeep Assist direct and surprise surprise they had the wrong rego against my VIN. The had the rego for my old MY12 as expired for roadside assist, even though my personalized plates were transferred by the dealer onto the new car.
So someone at the dealer stuffed up with the notification to Jeep Assist on sale.
All very well to say I don't need anything from Jeep. But my wife could have been broken down in the sticks, arguing with some muppet telling her the car was not in their system.
I think a previous recommendation came from SJandL, here's another one for Bill at Touch Up Guys Narellan who did an awesome repair job on my car last week.
Had a decent dent and gouge on the rear quarter panel where the bumper and wheel arch meet (a real bitch of a spot), now absolutely perfect!
I've just renewed today Andrew. Our WK2 comes out of warranty on the 19th. I received the letter a few weeks ago. It came down to a choice between renewal of NRMA (and adding the Jeep) or Jeep Assist.
We've had NRMA previously because of our old Holden Caprice that sits in our driveway but this year we have allowed the rego and insurance to expire on it (because it never gets driven and we are unsure what we are going to do with the old girl).
NRMA was $179. Jeep Assist is $143.
We went with JA for the WK2 and will ignore the Caprice for the meantime. In the 3 years of owning the WK2 we have never used Jeep Assist so it's more of a case of Murphy's Law. ie: If we don't have it, odds on we'll need it and a $143 is neither here nor there and cheaper than NRMA (NSW).
NRMA and their sister organisations in other states, have a network of service centres and agents. Jeep have just their dealers. Frankly I rather have an NRMA guy come out and get me moving than a Jeep dealer. I have greater faith in the quality of NRMA and I'm sure they will be cheaper in the long rum.
Can you point me to any online comparison between these two, and even any other providers? You've piqued my interest here, as my Jeep comes out of warranty before too long as well.
I was just planning to renew the Jeep Assist due to the low cost, but have never really looked into them nor had to use one (touch wood). We will need to get decent quality roadside cover, as we have some traveling in mind.
I'm living in Perth which may make a difference, not sure.
Hey guys, I know this question has been mentioned in other threads but I'm wondering if anyone has had any success in installing an aftermarket remote start in a MY14 Jeep GC SRT here in Oz? If so, what unit did they use and was it a hard install? Any issues down the track? Thanks in advance ?
