No VIN. Expected build date is around xmas. Will hassle dealer around that time for VIN but I'm secretly hoping that it may have already been built.

If correct, a VIN would already be assigned.

They will probably tell you that a VIN isnt assigned until after built. They should at least be able to give you a CON number. This is the same as the US VON. Milous should be able to help with that number.

Good luck. Mine is on Aussie soil now!

I'm jealous...
Tried the CON number before and only got a blank look from the dealer. Sometimes I wonder if they really know what they are doing....

The Overland has arrived

Hello to all.

Picked up the new Deep Cherry Red Overland last Friday.

This is simply an awesome vehicle.

Pictures are the best that we could do, however, the Deep Cherry hue just looks better in the flesh. The camera seems to turn it into a lighter red, not sure why.

More photos are located as per the link below.

http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...039#post527039

When we picked it up it had 14 km on the clock, so happy with that.

After 278 km it is currently sitting on 10.3 L/100km which I think is pretty good for a new vehicle out of the box.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

14Klms appears to be the same on many cars that have just been unpacked.
Are those DVD players on the headrests?
