The dealers get their weekly updates from Jeep Aust, who in turn get it from HQ in Detroit.
So bypass the Dealer, and go to Jeeep Oz.
Just explain that the dealer has no idea what VIN Numbers are. You willprobably need to give them an order date, and details of the car. i.e. Model, Colour, engine, trim etc.

I spoke to my dealer yesterday, they reckon it will come in to the dealership on the 13th Dec.

I haven't got any accessories etc to fit, so hopefully can take delivery within a couple of days of that date
Oh yeah Spentan, i should mention.. somehow all the White Gold w/New Saddle/Black Overlands fell overboard in rough seas, i hope you werent waiting for one

Yeah they magically jumped 20m in the air went through a 2in deck to leap overboard

John I think you are correct there.
Or they are hoping a vehicle will just match your criteria.
If it is some thing not normal like trim change they have to place an order and allocate a CON for it.
The CON will not be allocated until a build schedule is made.

I don't know how that dealer could say "your jeep is on track" unless they had a confirmation number. Just sounds odd to me. I would be interested to know what Alicia gets for you.
For a Feb delivery, you should be able to get the build sheet from Milous.
