Re: WK2 DownUnder

Ok I'll try the cloth for a while, sounds like it's popular

I got the shorter sill guards, the rear doors won't be used much and I got the short ones for US$65 with free shipping on eBay, so I was happy with that

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I would have thought the compliance plate was in the engine bay somewhere.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Latest news from my Dealer is that they are going to build me a new Overland, and use the one built, with the wrong colour upholstery, for another buyer.
That probably means I will be waiting for a further several months to delivery.
It is too long, I may as well wait for a MY13 build.
Maybe that will have the structure for the front tow hooks.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Allypally.. can you get them to give any discount on a prebuilt one or anything? If its going to take that long then maybe you should think about waiting the extra bit for the 2013 which may come with the 8sp. I personally couldnt wait that long, but depends what you want i guess.

On another note.. has anyone go the reverse camera working while in drive on a Laredo yet? I read somewhere that i had to press the uconnect button twice (im asusming the uconnect button is the one with phone on it) although it doesnt say uconnect. Doesnt seem to do anything when i press twice.

Think that will only work if you have a lockpick or equivalent device installed. Never heard of this working with stock installation.

Same here... surprised that Google didn't complain about excessive queries for RHD slush mats but the only source seems to be Mopar in Aus

Was desperate enough to ask dealer for price but have not yet received an answer.

As I said - desperate measure to ask dealer but maybe I'll get some small discount.

I have the black Mopar side steps ready for installation. Have been sitting in a box in the garage since last Nov. An early purchase considering my Overland is still waiting in that f*@# Java yard in Detroit

Waiting time seems to pass quicker buying stuff for a car I don't even have yet. Seriously thinking about the door sill guards and the Mopar cargo liner from ebay. Also like the Rocky Road roof rack and replacement roof rails. Already fighting with dealer about tow hooks and proper tyres. Gives me something to do
