Think I would get along just fine with your wife
Cherry Red is very nice, a long way above white on my preference list.

Mine just came our of the Detroit Jefferson Assembly Plant and is sitting in the Woodhaven Yard. It's below zero (max) in Detroit. That should test it.

Good luck Bob. What will now test you is watching that car sit in that yead , then get shipped to another, and then probably another after that, where it could sit for weeks.
Mind you, I have seen some cars leave the first yard, and within a day go onto a railcar.
Hopefully you avoid the "Java Yard" where cars can sit for what appears to be an eternity. My first build, which they put the wrong colour upholstery in, went into the Livernois Facility, and hasn't been seen since.

Java Yard = repair shop. Mine was damaged and went to Java Yard for repair. Don't know what damage but I will check it very thoroughly if it ever makes it to the dealer.

I wouldn't be worried about "damage" as such. My guess is that the dreaded Java Yard is for correction of minor quality issues such as paint blemishes, loose trim etc. Damage is rare in modern production processes. The damaged vehicle would not be bothered with and simply auctioned off. However, damage in transit is another matter.

I tend to agree. Probably was a minor bodywork adjustment or a blemish in the paintwork. In reference to paint, I have noticed many a Jeep in the showrooms with what appears to be small lumps in the paint. This appears to be grit. Nothing major, but annoying to see it when the rest of the paintwork is very good. I am assuming they can be removed with the right polishes.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Found a weird thing last night, dunno if anyone else has done it.
I have a Laredo, so it doesnt have the tyre monitoring thing that tells what the pressures are, just the light if they become low. So the evic doesnt have the ability to see that page.

Somehow while driving home i pressed a button or combination of buttons and the evic showed the tyre pressure screen. Now naturally they all said 0.0 because there is now pressure sensors, but i have no idea how i even got into that screen. Anyone else done this as well? I wonder if there are any other things on the EVIC you can get to.

Rofl, my 300c evic had a mad amount of hidden Easter eggs, I'm surprised no-one has found anything else for the JGC

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I think you pushed the hallucination button, which pumps air from the tires in to the cabin.

I'm not really worried about some minor paint repairs but more annoyed about the 10 days lost fixing. I don't want to wait any longer!
