Re: WK2 DownUnder

Well after a 4 month wait I picked up my baby on Friday minus the chrome side steps, ( that's another story)

Wife hadn't test driven one prior to ordering so she was really impressed and happy with the color choice

Racked up 300 ks this weekend and I must say this machine is fantastic , great ride and handling is smooth as, really happy with the Beige interior and the ACC is really cool.

This is defiantly the best car I have owned with my previous a Nissan Pathfinder, No comparison at all.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Congrats. I like the leather, it goes well with the silver. Are chrome fog bezels on the mod list?

Re: WK2 DownUnder

My car has just been moved from Woodhaven Yard to New Boston. My guess is that it is some kind of transport hub. Does anyone know for sure?

That is the yard wh they load the cars onto a train for shipping to Curtis Bay. You will most likely see a lot of activity over the next few days as the car goes from Rail terminal to another. You are 2 days behind mine at the moment so will probably make the same ship. Mind you, my car is going to someone else, as they ordered the wrong colour upholstery, and I am awaiting a new Order number.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

After all the wait I have to say I cant wipe the smile off my face. I did 650km on the weekend and the power/economy/luxury is outstanding!!! If this is a Jeep thing then I'm more than half pregnant.

Great to see you are enjoying the new ride.
Now shuddup, and stop teasing those of us who still are awaiting theirs.

After 5 months hopefully it's still there, as ours certainly is.
Considering ordering another just to experience the wait unfortunately most of you have had, our 3 week wait wasn't to difficult to live with.

Mike.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Hi Guys,
A newbie on the site, however a new GC Overland is on the cards in the next month or so. Has anybody ordered the saddle interior, (dark biege/brown) and if so " what do you honestly think"?. I think it looks awesome but havnt seen one in the flesh. Thinking of a white overland with either saddle or light beige. Any thoughts?

Yes, deserthucker and I have the saddle interior, it is really nice, I added a pic a couple of pages back.

If the srt8 comes out soon I may consider trading up if it's at the right price. Is demand for slightly used overlands good? Lol
