Glad you stuck with it and they have sorted you out with a new one.

I did my DRL's with LED and they are now not working. Worked for a couple of days, then started flickering. Changed them back tot he OEM globe and the DRL's no longer work. I have checked all the fuses, but nothing. The DRL's still work with the headlights (but in their dull setting), but not as DRL's when the car is running. I have no idea what is wrong or what caused it.
A word of advice is that many LED's will not work in DRL's because they overheat. You may be best trying to get whiter halogen globes rather than LEDs.
Mine done the same, got the recommended brand as well.
Two days they started flickering, watched in the window reflection at home. Looked like blue cop flashing strobes. Took them out back to the OEM all OK.
Think our ambient temp is not good for them.

Glad I read that. Changing my DRL's to LED was going to be one of my first mods

Just at the dealer for my 1000km service ATM. Got my Volant CAI installed no worries at all.

Installed it myself, first time I've ever really done something under the engine bay lol. I've always had someone else do this stuff.

It's very nice and loud, having come from a HSV Grange it's still a bit slower lol but I'm so happy with the interior that i don't care.

I would definitely recommend the Volant CAI to anyone as it has lowered my fuel economy as well as given an awesome v8 growl and it's a bit freer when revving.
Will post pics when i get the chance.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Hey Tristan, did you get the facotry fitted tow pack or the Jeep Australia fitted tow bar, From what I have read, the factory fitted tow pack comes with self levelling shocks if you didn't order the quadra lift. I have the Jeep Australia tow bar (it's the mopar) and want to know the part numbers of the self levelling shocks. Wouldn't mind getting a set if they aren't to pricey.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Well just got back from first tow trip. Was towing my race car so 1600kg or there abouts. Towed it easily with no hassle, nice and smooth. Great trip, didnt even chew that much fuel. round the 11-12L/100k. Pictures to come.

So I picked up the Overland yesterday and wasted no time in heading north to Blueys beach, Pacific Palms... tomorrow she goes to the beach for a run on Sandbar.
