Hi AllyPally,
These are the roll on roll offs destined to make their way over to Australia from Baltimore in the next month: -

TAIKO PORGY TAMESIS OBERON TEXAS

Do they all transport on behalf of Jeep or is it just the Texas that I recall delivering to other forum members late last year? The Taiko departs the day after tomorrow.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

If you message me your VIN, I can tell you which ship the car is loaded onto. That normally occurs a day or so prior to sailing

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Got the 24k service done on Monday.
Supplied my own oil Fuchs 0w20.
Was quoted $470 for the service supplying my own oil dropped it to $300.
Then gave them the filter voucher and got another $33 off.
They updated the ELSD module and other unnamed updates.

And they washed it.
Think they may have got a shock when they opened the bonnet.
1500km on dirt roads 2 days before the service.

PS: after driving on dirt wash the filler cap before removing to stop dust going down the spout.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Hi

I got my black petrol (v6) limited last week. Loving it.

Just wondering what fuel you all use. Is it better to use premium fuel, or is just standard unleaded fine? Or, as i've done with previous vehicles, should i use unleaded but occasionaly (every fifth tank or so) use a higher grade fuel. Would love to know all your thoughts.

And also, did you all get your 1000km service done? And what kind of price were you charged?

Cheers
LTMcMahon

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Looks like Jeep Aust locked their Facebook Page so that you can no longer post entries, such as complaints.
They must have got fedup with trying to ignore the complaints about issues such as the tow hooks, that they blocked that content. Looks like you can now only post on their own entries, rather than ask a question.

Well done, you will love it
It will give you more power and more range with a 95/98 RON fuel, it just depends on if you want to pay the extra.

I was never told about the 1000km service, but it generally a tire kick service where not much is done.
