But US RON and AUS are different and the fuel is different.
Search for "the use of premium". It states, "NOTE: The use of Premium gasoline is NOT recommended for the 3.8L or 5.7L engines. Under normal conditions, the use of Premium gasoline will not provide a benefit over high quality Regular and Mid-grade gasoline, and in some circumstances may result in poorer performance." Why it is so, I don't know. You might also want to read this http://www.scientificamerican.com/ar...tion-premium-g .

The reverse camera is standard but is fitted by the AU dealer.

I have read that report before.
I will go by my real world test.
BP ultimate = less contaminates = cleaner oil at oil change.
I use to keep oil samples of all my oil changes, habit from running mine workshops. Oil in a teat tube held up to light you can see changes when something is wrong.
Ultimate = slightly more power, more perky.
Ultimate = better fuel economy.

With using these fuels people put it in for one tank and make up there mind it is no better, at least 2-3 tanks before any gains are noticed.
The mileage may not make up for the cost difference. But when you pull an engine down then you see the difference.

Cleaner oil must be better for an engine.

But if you use it for every other tank full, you may as well forget it.

As per Beerenton's post - The reversing camera we get on the Aus Wk2 is fitted by the dealer workshop before delivery. They actually remove the existing chrome trim across the back and fit a new one with the camera. A complete harness is run inside the trim from the back to the front for the display and camera power, and the software is reflashed.
Ours had a few issues with can bus confusion affecting the stoplights and rear door interior lights due to a dealer plug in the camera loom that was not correctly connected. Sorted after a day and a half in the shop.
I'm very happy with how the camera works and will likely fit a lock pick to the radio to allow a van camera to be displayed while driving.

What radio does yours have?
The chr550 does not work with our RHP.
What lockpick are you intending to use?
I ordered another one from MYGIGS Europe but they cancelled the order saying it is not available.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

GDay Deserthucker
I have the RB2 radio - the standard Laredo one without nav.
Yep I know that the CHR 550 doesn't work and have been following with interest the efforts of a member of the Ausjeepoffroad forum - David Scott - he has been down that path and with the Eu Mygig rep.
Anyway it seems from a post on the forum http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=115026
that David has found (and got working) a lock pick on an RB2 from http://navtv.com/product/174/allgig-...eShowProduct=1
He gives good detail and the package is not all that expensive (by my reckoning).
If you have an RHP that may be different again but contact with David's supplier may be worthwhile if you wanted to go a similar route.

Hi Nigel,
Jeep doesn't feature on the drop down menu. Did you simply email them with the vehicle and colour? How was the colour match & quality?

Cheers.
