Anyway, something I didn't realise until I picked the car up was that the finance is only for the purchase price less GST. Or in other words, I financed for around $5k less than the purchase price because St George claim the GST back.
The shame is had I known this earlier I would have optioned up a bit more as my budget was for the higher price.
My dealer came back with finance details today. They have advised the GST component needs to be financed as part of the loan Might give my accountant a call to discuss. (Rate quoted is 8.9%)

If its a loan you do, for a lease you don't. I'd be surprised if you couldn't do better with the rate somewhere else as well.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Well mine done it today QL will not go to OR1.
And takes a long time to change from Aero height to normal height.
1100km trip tomorrow hope it makes it.
Dealer is 600km away in the opposite direction.
Called them, Wanneroo Jeep the service Dpt does not have the nitrogen gear.
And said they would take it down the road to some workshop and refill it.
Not that confident they know what they are doing.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

DH, make sure you have documented evidence that Jeep are sending you down the road to the guy with the nitrogen gear, you don't want a warranty debate down the track!

Do you think it's a seal or ruptured line?

Genuine Mopar cargo liner has a RRP of $208.47in Australia

https://www.mopar.com.au/Pages/Store...ils.aspx?D=156

Same thing from eBay or justforjeeps.com should cost around $150 - about half of which is postage. I ordered mine from Justforjeeps

Genuine RHD slush mats to match are an even bigger ripoff - $233 from Mopar Australia.

Whenever we park our vehicle, we always have it at Park height. When you start the vehicle when cold (ie overnight), it always goes back to normal height.

Deserthucker, considering all those dirt road klms that you do, hows the Jeep holding up? Not rattling to pieces? What air pressure are you running in those low profile 20"s?

I've also ordered the cargo liner from Justforjeeps. However, the front slush mats I ordered from http://www.factorymoparparts.com/ because they offered the exact part number (#82212214AC) as Mopar Aust. I was concerned that there might be difference with the RHD model. Factorymoparparts were unable to get a reasonable freight rate to ship the larger cargo liner.

Not sure, dont know if it has leaked definatly not a ruptured line would have lost all the gas by now.

Done 1575km today 420km on gravel.
Seemed to go in and out of aero mode ok.
Cant even select OR1 or OR2 nothing no flashing lights now.
Have to look-up the TSB's think there is one for the compressor.

Sampy 44psi on the HYW
If it is ruff rocky roads 38psi stop the tyres cutting up.
Today the gravel was like glass nor corrugations just slippery driving on marbles.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Was reading my Service and Warranty Handbook today, as we all do, and lo and behold on the front cover is a yellow sticker stating that the handbook does not apply to customers in Australia.
Stange seeing that the book has in fact been "Australianised" as references to Melbourne HQ and Jeep Assist Aust are mentioned.

Another glitch in the leaky armour of Chrysler Aust.
