Yes, they are the same guys from when it was the holden dealer - used them for my work Commodores for many years. But they have been on a steep learning curve in respect of the joys of Chrylser HQ.

Interested in your comment about the sales guys - I have about 8 months before I order a MY14 (or maybe a Disco if I get stuffed around again!).

Ah, I remember that ad. Never made the connection. Clever. All I could come up with was my name.

Have you got your Overland yet?

Nah I told my dealer that I wanted to wait for a 14, it appears that they still ordered it in though because I randomly found it sitting on the side of the road today pre-delivery. Theres no other Overlands in Darwin and after so long looking at phots the thing caught my eye immediately.

Guys, just driving back to Sydney from port macquarie. I noticed that when on cruise control and there is a down hill descent the engine drops down a gear in an attempt to maintain the speed. However there is no brakes applied in don't think. I don't have overland. I was expecting jeep to do this but I am not complaining but the revs go to 4.5 when the gear drops. Anyone else notice this?

That's quite normal. It uses engine braking to slow the car. It's great for long down hill runs. Our Honda does that although the Commodire we had didn't.

They seem to have a high turn over of staff, the salesgirl and manager I was dealing with have both left. Apart from that it was pretty painless.
Have only been in for the 1,000km service but the service department seemed pretty well organised.

Anyone got a black GC with a black ripple ECB bar? Considering it as my next purchase but not sure how it'll look.

When I rang around recently comparing prices for a 20k service, they were over $200 more expensive than the other dealers I rang. Even though they are my closest dealer, for $200 I'd rather go to Penrith or Parramatta.

That's weird. I thought that that the price would be the same everywhere.
