No Parramatta Motor Group. Heartland didn't become a Jeep dealer until a couple of months later. Parramatta have been great to deal with but, having said that, it pays to shop around for both purchase and service.

I can't see how Heartland were so far out of the ball park for the service quote. Then again, I had my Mitsubishi Outlander serviced there once and that was $1500.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Sat at the lights, pretty bored after a dreary drive home after an uneventful day at work and for the first time in ages, slipped into "SPORT" mode. Spoke those words "HARD DRIVE" into the Uconnect , gave the Sub Woofer something to bounce around to, lights turned green and..........Jeeeeeeeez, this car is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:coo l:
Now off for a lie down in a dark place until I stop shaking!!

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Don't know where I should post this, but does anybody know how to add and attachment to a PM? I can only see a method of pasting a URL, but not uploading a file. Cheers for any info.

I don't think you can add an attachment. Best to use the personal email system.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Failed Customs Inspection??
Morning all,

Well I was hoping to take delivery of my MY13 Laredo CRD today ....however was advised early last week that whilst the car had arrived in country OK - it had failed it's Customs Inspection (Reason Unknown) and delivery will now be delayed by a week. Not overly happy but what can you do . Just wondering has anyone else been in the same situation or can advise how a brand new car could fail an Inspection? Not sure how many were in the batch that arrived, however apparently mine and 2 other failed.. Many Thanks Mick

I've heard of it happen before. The cars sit in an outside lot for some time in storage, and during that time grass seeds have been known to get stuck to the car, which causes Customs/Quarantine issues.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Failed Customs inspection was quite common. Usually due to grass or dirt found under the car or in tyre surface It was the normal thing early last year, but I thought the shipping area in the USA was now paying more attention to this.
