I think I love you.

Just spoke to Claremont Wheelpower about this. They don't have any in stock at the moment because they had a fire last month. They've taken my number and will call when they get more though

You mean that ad should be taken down?

That is good value for sure. I'm partially interested too.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Vehicle servicing, rang my local dealer for a price on a 20k service and was quoted $300 more than two other Jeep dealers, my local said that's because they use genuine parts OUCH!! if you are the other dealers. So what they are saying is that other dealers don't use genuine? So why do dealerships vary so much when it comes to servicing, how come Jeep has no set price around the country.

me thinks dealer speak with forked tongue.
Firstly, how does he know what parts other dealers are using?
Secondly, for a 20,000klm service, the parts would be
* Oil filter
* oil
* air filter

Maybe I have missed a part or two, but I don't see $300 difference in those parts.
Tell him he is dreaming, of fraud.

Yep quoted $750 for a 20k, maybe they didn't hear me right when I said for a JGC I should have checked to make sure they weren't quoting a bmw??

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I am coming up to the 20k Service as well.

Three dealers in Perth, all quoted with 15.00 of each other and 150.00 more than the same service in the eastern states.

Might just get the couple of small warranty bits fixed by the dealer and then take the GC to a non jeep service organisation. As long as you buy the genuine filters and Mobil ESP oil it should not effect any warranty.

I'd pay $150 extra... if they did a decent job.

Further to my post above about my negative experience with the 20k service at SVM Artarmon, I noticed a few new unregistered Jeeps in the shop. I asked why they were there. The guy explained that they do all the Jeep dealer options fitting for the Suttons Motors Group. That explains a lot. Anyway, I mentioned the backup cameras. He explained that Overlands and Limiteds come with factory fitted cameras but not the Laredos. They fit the cameras to the Laredos. So I'm guessing they are the after-market cameras people are complaining about.
