I get that, but around 50kph. Only heard on the hotter days. I search around and remember someone reading it was the drive shaft sticker/label which partially detatched causing it to flap/rub. I havent bothered investigating as its only occasional and if that is all it is then I'll get to it one day.

Might get the service guys tomorrow to rip the sticker off altogether.

Yours might be something more major

Hi Ally, it was the first thing I checked, currently underneath it and found a long parts tag that was on the strut , about to take for a drive to see whether that's it .

Mudflap or plastic cover loose? I see heaps of cars driving around with bits hanging off underneath once the wind gets moving under the car.

You might have to get under the car and pull at the various bits to see if you can find something loose.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

It might be someone from the Jeep Australia Customer Service desk, who has attached a note under the car saying that the reverse cam will be fitted in the next 4 weeks.

Hi Beggsy, I did have a noise that sounded like it was coming from behind the uconnect system, more of a metallic rattle than a flapping noise. Dealer could not find the problem but when I was fitting my side steps I noticed a heat shield on the right hand side of the car touching the chassis rail, slightly bent the heat shield and noise vanished. No rattle for the last two months

Hi G6Jet, thanks for the tip, ended up taking the beast to SVM at artarmon, did a road test with the mechanic who heard it, they put it up on the hoist and 20minutes later was driving my quiet baby again...... Culprit was a piece of plastic rubbing against the front drive shaft. Big Kudos to the SVM guys, couldn't have asked for better service. !!
