It appears they are working on it from what you have said and probally dont want to come back with anymore promises until they are 100% certain.
If they have specifically given you the option to cancel the contract then sure talk with another dealer however if they have not I would not be signing anything with any other dealer as they still have 60days after the delivery date on your contract to deliver the right car to you. (As outlined on your contract of sale, correct colour etc)

I hear ya BUT when the salesman emails makes an apology which sounded sincere and promises to ring to bring you up to date with what has transpired then dose not it is just another failure in customer relations and frankly I'm sick of this crap.
I would not sign another contract with Jeep until I get the truth the whole truth etc etc.
Dealer in Melbourne is looking at HVAC issues/HiTV and Suttons claiming they will still honour jeep warranty if issues with head unit. Is ascertaining if indeed the Hill ascent is there cause he believes it is. A number of investigative searches for him to do and then he will come back to me tomorrow.
I think it will be difficult to get the same deal elsewhere as far as price goes and this is why I'm perservering, despite the known issues. It is my hope that they might get it sorted by the 4th or 5th generation.
I did read an article which said Jeep used to produce a model put it out there and forget about it for the next 4-5 years. But now with the 3rd Gen WK they are continually upgrading and fine tuning it so one would hope that issues would be resolved.
Having said all that I take everything I'm told now with a grain of salt until it is proved to be true....to much BS and inaction comming from Jeep and many of their dealers.
