I think the 210 is a single view.

All it needed was 12v on ignition, rca straight into the head unit. From memory its a 5 wire loom from camera location to screen.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Yeah it looks like cable surgery would be required... I'm not sure that I have enough cores. But to paint a picture of what the multi-view CMOS 310 offers:

The split view is really handy.

Hi WarrenK,

I have just read your post re: getting your caravan camera picture on your vehicles screen (in lieu of a second dedicated screen).

I am in the process of trying to achieving the exact same thing.

I have been in discussions with a company that have achieved this by installing a Video Input Module (VIM), between camera (must be NTSC format camera, not PAL) and vehicle screen, that will display your caravan camera(s) [up to a max of 4], on the uConnect screen. At no time in our discussions did the term "Customtronix" get mentioned, so I am assuming (but will check with him today) this is another method.

My understanding is (from the explanation given to me by the technician) that when the VIM is activated (turned-on, by use of Hot-Key) the image appears on the uConnect screen. The image utilises all of the screen so no other data is displayed (Time, outside temp, etc, etc), but the 'standard' screen can be restored by turning off of the VIM input (hot-key) or using any of the 'hard-keys' for the radio or climate functions etc. I am not sure about use of VR, but I cannot imagine it not working. (ie, "Climate. Set temperature 22 degrees")

There is obviously a lot more to it than what I have written above, and I have probably only said enough to raise a million questions in your (and other readers) mind. I see that you are in Ipswich, which is not far from me. If you want, maybe we can meet up and compare notes. PM me if this is OK with you.

Sorry, forgot to take photos the other day. As you can see, different views much like the brochure. Video quality is much better than the Jeep OEM camera.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Hey lads,
Has anyone had to do their first brake pad change on their WK2 SRT?
Did you find anywhere with a good deal? Did you just do pads and not rotors?
Any advice would be great. I'll be due in 2 months so want to get ready!

Shock Horror the tail gate will not stay open after 3.5 years of hard use.
Put of calling the dealer for 3 weeks for a price of a strut.

Darren told me to sit down.
I did prepare for the worst.

$20 bucks Darren replied.
Your joking what is it really.
$20 bucks.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

At least Jeep Australia have something in stock. Pity you can't get by without a DPF by using a piece of broomstick.

Advice:
Do not get the dealer to do it
Get Ceramic Pads to reduce the dust

I have not done the change on the SRT, but I did do it on a FPV with the same Brembo combo. The Brembo rotors are very soft and my need replacing, if so get DBA rotors as they are much cheaper and not as soft.
Most mechanics can do the work, it is fairly simple to change pads. It took me about an hour of casual work to do it on the FPV in my driveway.
