Re: WK2 DownUnder

I would think that Nicjak's issue is a potentially serious one. Total loss of power whilst driving can lead to major accident. Might be worth lodging it with ACCC. If only to capture the incident.

WK2 DownUnder

I once press the push to start and it kept cranking. It was a one off. Then once again it happened when I remote start, kept cranking. How embarrassing was that?

Nicjak, excuse to move up or move on? - I too agree that yours is a serious issue waiting for an accident to happen. It would be almost impossible to replicate, and if jeep service found the issue, I wouldn't trust it.

Exactly! Not only loss of power but locked steering while on a curve. This is the sort of thing that results in billion dollar law suits ay least after someone gets killed. Any volunteers? Or let's just roll the dice, shall we?

That's not supposed to happen on the non-euro/Australia export models. The steering wheel lock is non existent. The fix for you is to have the lock removed

Nicjak was not your issue "supposed" to be covered by the recall?

Classic symptom of the power management module, the relay connectors for the fuel pump fails on the PCB bad solder joints.

Why not? Fuel prices are at its low. Not good for me, but for you guys keep it up. In the industry I'm in, we need you to buy bigger engines.
