Re: WK2 DownUnder

Primarily to keep the 4 year old quiet in the back seat watching video, but would also be handy for checking the boat/trailer while travelling and for checking distance while driving forward into garage oh... and also the ipod connection, however not sure if this is better than factory connection/operation.

I'm guessing then that they were most likely added after the vehicle landed in Australia.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Hi, for info I am reliably informed that ARB does not intend to do anything for the WK2 due to lack of demand (here and in the US).

Springs and things are different from the WK and as such unless one of the other aftermarket suppliers (TJM et al) does them we'll need Quadra lift to carry the load if we want to really use our JGCs (and QL isn't available on the Laredo). Similarly no ARB bullbars, Safari snorkels and so on.

Cheers

Jim

Hey guys,

Just got back from the dealer with some details on my Mineral Grey Overland CRD.

I ordered it 2 weeks or so ago, with a rather open ended delivery date. Had it confirmed today that it will be an October build for delivery sometime in January/February.

I am really excited so this is gonna be a loooonnnngg wait!

Re: WK2 DownUnder

The wait is the worst, they should supply a straight jacket on placement of order!
You WILL go insane

It is a long wait and I am in the same boat (maybe literally?).

The crazy part is that when we receive ours, the MY13 will only be 4-5 months from the commencment of manufacture that will likely have the 8 speed auto. Hyperthetically this means naught because if we waited for that, we would not see our cars til 2013.

Hmm. Maybe now I know why they release the MY12 mid 2011 and MY13 mid 2012 for us guys here in Aus, because thats when we can expect to receive them.

I think that logic gives me a headache!! Certainly doesn't help me in making the big decision; grab one I can have now but not quite the right spec, order my exact requirment now, or wait for the 2013 spec on the offchance of the 8 speed!?

Lockpick,
a divce to pick locks

Ok a device used with Mygig radios so you can enter GPS while in motion.
Watch video in motion.
Gives additional outputs ie video for back seats.
Extra camera inputs.
Opens locked features of you radio.

I will use one to monitor my trailer while driving.
And thinking of installing a camera inside the trailer as well.
