Re: WK2 DownUnder

Maybe its a terminology thing.

Springs could also mean "air springs".

Not sure only found the site this morning, yours has been waiting with mine a while though mine has been there waiting for a couple of weeks. Ship only got in today so maybe they haven't updated the manifest /loaded yours yet.

Yes, you definitely have Quadralift, which uses air suspension springs.

Did you get a build list from Milous?

I noted on mine that it has SERS Quadra Lift Air Suspension and further down under optional equipment it has:

ZKAP Spring - Left Front
ZKRP Spring - Left Rear
ZYAP Spring - Right Front
ZYRP Spring - Right Rear

I suppose I am checking whether it does have Quadralift and it hasn't been optioned to sprung suspension.

If yours has the same above and has been delivered Quadralift then I can rest easy.

Appreciate your help.
Mine has that and came with QL
SERS Quadra-Lift (TM) Air Suspension

Hey Milous, I'm stewing because my car has been in PR for so long, any idea why it could be?

Re: WK2 DownUnder

something i didn't know about the car:

during the day, when the running lights are on, whichever side indicator you turn on, the same side running light turns off during the time the indicator is blinking.

you could not of waited long-enough for your car

Us that waited 6 months+ read every page and post in these forums

Jumping into the WK2 was like putting on an old well worn shoe, knew were everything is (almost) no surprises, took some of the edge of of getting a new car.

But have to laugh the sales women repeated several times the jeep logo in the headlight.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

We are doing our first family road trip to Dubbo Zoo and a farm in Bathurst next week.
I will be keen to see the fuel figures as we are doing 14's currently with only short trips.
I will also get to do some off roading, but only basic stuff, nothing hard core.

How is your paintwork? Mine is pretty crap. Every panel has a blemish, either a piece of lint/dust trapped in the painwork causing a small bubble or rough spot. I've only had euro cars the past 10 years and have never seen anything quite this bad. Is this the general standard.

The Sat nav never worked from day 1. I currently have a loan unit, while a new one is one order.

And... i have intermittent warning message all over the dash. You will see in another thread under troubleshooting, but they are ABS warning, ACC, FCW, Parking Assist, Air Suspension Service, Service 4WD.

Great start so far... 600km and 11 days old, 21 hours of engine run time. I wonder what next week will bring. Will i regret buying American? most likely.
Hey Wardy,

I don't want to open up any wounds but how are you going with this? I hope the guys at the dealership have or are looking after you and it is all sorted out.
