I also managed to do a lot of off roading at my friends farm. Never been a real off road freak, I was keen to test out how well it went. As it was very wet an muddy, I must admit I was shocked to find that I did not get stuck on anything I did with it. While it was mainly boggy paddocks and the odd rutted out riverbed, the thing just climbed out and never needed a tow. My mate the farmer was dumbstruck by how well it went on 20" road tyres.
Was the Selec-Terrain set to auto for this adventure or were you playing with the settings?
i tried HDC, but it did not work, I only realised later reading here that you need to be in low range. I did read somewhere it does work in reverse.
It was quite steep, and the video does not pick up the grading. My 6yo is new to video.
MY2011 CRD Overland in Bright Silver
Dropped in to the dealer this morning to ask a question about the car (was expecting delivery next Monday), and was told there had been a mistake and that the car I'd bought (a diesel Overland) has been sold twice and that the other guy who has bought it will be getting it.
I've been promised another car, which should be ready for pick-up at the end of October. Tempted to just go and buy a Touareg...
That is poor customer relations from the dealer. They just told you that now?
I would also complain to Jeep Aust. There is no excuse for that type of behaviour.
Who was the dealer that took your order?
