Either metric or imperial for all units of measure, take your pick.

Was the Selec-Terrain set to auto for this adventure or were you playing with the settings?

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I tried Auto and Mud. The only difference I noticed was Mud raised up the suspension.
The Jeep does wicked donuts....

the manual says select between PSI, BAR, KPA. I cant find how to get KPA.
BAR does not seam to be a broad enough scale for me.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Ok, I do not have any video or pictures of the Donut, as it was only a quick one to show my son what one was. Here are a few pics and a shor video of the CRD going up a wet grass hill.

Rounding up some sheep

Sorry about the camera work, my 6yo son was trying to work out how to stop recording.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Pity close up video does not capture the true grade of the hill.

Does hill decent work in revers?

Re: WK2 DownUnder

i tried HDC, but it did not work, I only realised later reading here that you need to be in low range. I did read somewhere it does work in reverse.
It was quite steep, and the video does not pick up the grading. My 6yo is new to video.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Dropped in to the dealer this morning to ask a question about the car (was expecting delivery next Monday), and was told there had been a mistake and that the car I'd bought (a diesel Overland) has been sold twice and that the other guy who has bought it will be getting it.

I've been promised another car, which should be ready for pick-up at the end of October. Tempted to just go and buy a Touareg...

Re: WK2 DownUnder

That is poor customer relations from the dealer. They just told you that now?
I would also complain to Jeep Aust. There is no excuse for that type of behaviour.
Who was the dealer that took your order?
