Re: WK2 DownUnder

I would not tint the privacy glass any darker, as it already very dark (18%) and anything more would make vision difficult at night. $795 is a ripoff for a tint. RRP would be under $500 from anywhere.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Has anybody got a buildsheet where it outlines "Trailer Tow Prep Group" and understand what this provides. I'm somewhat hoping it is the trailer brake connector.

$300.00
20% on the front
UV cut and heat block on all the rest.
I could notice a big difference in heat transfer with the UV cut on the on the back windows.

Yes

And yes if it is an overland it is standard.

Spentan maybe I need to clarify
"No it does not only the US gets that.
AHCP"

AHCP is the export tow group.

USA get the connector for the tow harness under the back behind the bumper.
Australia have a cable run from the bumper into the cab by the dealer here in OZ.
I did not trace it all the way, it runs up under the spare tyre well then into the left side near the amplifier.

Hi All just joined the site - love the info on here - just invaluable!

Ordered my new jeep today - first time in a jeep upgrading from a sedan to finally getting a 4wd (Coming from a Subaru Liberty)..

Going for a Mineral Grey 2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo with QL, Off road Adventure pack II and Group IV Tow Pack..! Missus has said no offroading in the first 6 months lol But after that it will be getting a nice big roo/bull bar on it hopefully (if there is any available!)

Welcome! I am tossing up whether to get a ECB bar (link below). Never been a fan of ECB on other makes but I've seen one fitted and it looks pretty good. It looks like you lose the hardened steel recovery hooks but it seems they have them mounted in the channel somehow

PS saw a red CRD Laredo with QL advertised for $67K on carsales the other day. looks like the 3 month+ wait is worth some serious $$$ in premium...

Nice - anyone know the approx cost on those? i like the look...

Wouldnt the oval holes in the base be about the place for the hooks?

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I would definitely not recommend getting tinting done by the dealer. However, I would recommend asking your dealer who they use.

My Car just got to KZ status, shoop da woop
