Re: WK2 DownUnder

The last tracking update seems to outlines I didnt get on the TAMERLANE. If this is correct the next is the ANIARA on the 28th. Which means my car would have been at Curtis bay for almost a month, like watching water boil. Also getting near the XMAS timeframe and I need my car to tow my 4WD camper so we can go on holiday.. WAF getting low.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Mine arrived into Brisbane Port Friday night on the Tamesis, I guess with a few others, now just got to wait for it to make it to the Mackay dealership......

Has anyone had any success with fitting the lockpick, heard some stories of it not working properly.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I'm stewin now, According to the tracking I should receive mine 20/11/2011. Hopefully it is just a glitch and it has already left the US.

Which other ships are bringing Jeeps to Aus?

Re: WK2 DownUnder

This shipping stuff is way out of my league. I don't know if they use a company other than WW but the Aniara is a vehicle carrier, due to leave Wednesday.

And your carbon footprint will be smaller! Especially you V8 drivers!

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Re the lockpick

I purchased a 550 lockpick. I am sending it back. The factory rear camera shows up in black and white after selecting reverse and no sound. When selecting additional camera the sound is also blocked this picture is colour. I wanted to view the picture of the rear of the van at times when traveling for things such as changing lanes etc but when you do the sound stops again. No unlocking there. The other things such as watching dvd etc whilst traveling did not concern me. My main aim was to view the factory camera or the van camera whilst on the road at times to check on things and still listen to music. I have fitted a six pin switch in the factory camera line so I can now view either camera when in reverse only. I am in the process of finding out how the camera is activated when placed in reverse. This would allow to view them whilst moving and still listen to music. The factory camera is powered all the time so one would assume there is a wire from the gearbox/selector somewhere that instructs the radio to show the vision. Just need to know the pin number and colour. My radio is the 431. I have put about 14 gb of music on it already. Very happy with the vehicle. Stone white diesel laredo.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Thanks for the reply David looks like no one has been able to get these things to work properly, in Australia anyway.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I'm certain now mine hasn't left. So it must be the ANIARA. There is no way my delivery date of the 16 Nov 11 can be meet.

There are other options which supposedly work like this http://www.customtronix.com/index.ph...hk=1&Itemid=54

Might get one but first I need my JGC

Careful these things are full electronic.
Most likely find there is no power type signal from the box for reverse but more likely can-bus.

I am looking at one of these PAC is a reputable company and very helpful.
They have helped me in the past.

The NU-CHY2 is a Navigation Unlock integration interface that allows the factory Navigation & Reverse Camera Features of your Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep radio to be used by the passenger at anytime.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Tried the CHR550 lock pick again. I have the RHP 730
Tried with the dip switches in different positions. Found if set to slow bus the radio does not turn on.
Only found one thing hit the uconnect button twice gives you the reverse camera.
But the quality is pore.

Would like to know if the NAV2go works with our radios!
